This new version will be titled &#8216;<em>If Only<\/em>&#8216; and will be made by the production company, Boomerang TV.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>It was in July of last year when it was announced that &#8216;If Only&#8221; was cancelled before starting its shooting: &#8220;Due to a gay character, the permissions to shoot the series were not guaranteed and this was very unnerving for the future&#8221;, announced the creative manager in the Turkish media. It was to be an <strong>eight-episode mini-series<\/strong> in which \u00d6zge \u00d6zpirin\u00e7ci (&#8216;Woman&#8217;) was to star.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>After the abrupt end of the project, <strong>Netflix has resumed it again in Spain, together with screenwriter\u00a0<span class=\"il\">Irma<\/span>\u00a0Correa (&#8216;Alba&#8217;), who has been in charge of adapting the format and will act as showrunner of &#8216;If Only&#8217;<\/strong>, with Y\u00f6ren\u00e7 as consultant. The other major change in the project is that it will have a Spanish cast, led by Megan Montaner (&#8217;30 Coins&#8217;) as the lead, playing Emma, a 30-year-old woman trapped in an unhappy ten-year marriage to Nando.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>The official synopsis explains a little more about the plot: &#8220;Emma, trapped in a routine without romance or excitement, realizes that if she could go back in time, she would not accept Nando&#8217;s marriage proposal and decides she should divorce him. A couple of days later, <strong>while on her way to see a rare lunar eclipse with her friends, a glitch in time sends her back 10 years to 2008<\/strong>. Her 30-year-old mind is trapped in her 20-year-old body.
